Learning Italian involves embracing culture. Expert tutor offers tailored classes and immersive experiences for fluency.
Learning Italian is more than just studying a new language; it’s about embracing a rich and vibrant culture. With over five years of experience teaching Italian both online and in person in Amsterdam, I bring a passion for the language and its culture to every lesson. Equipped with a Double Degree in Applied Languages and two Masters, I’m committed to helping you achieve fluency through personalized and immersive experiences. Let’s explore how individual Italian classes, combined with incorporating daily habits, can transform your language learning journey!
Listening to Italian Music on Your Way to School or Work
One of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to immerse yourself in Italian is by listening to music. On your way to school or work, tune into Italian songs or radio stations. This habit helps you get accustomed to the rhythm, pronunciation, and vocabulary of the language. Plus, music is a great way to learn colloquial expressions and cultural nuances that aren’t always found in textbooks.
Watching Italian Movies or Netflix Shows on the Weekends
Transform your weekends into mini-Italian cultural immersions by watching Italian movies or Netflix shows. This not only improves your listening skills but also exposes you to different accents, dialects, and cultural contexts. Watching with subtitles can help you understand the dialogue better and pick up new phrases. It’s a fun and relaxing way to learn, and it brings the language to life.

Reading an Italian Magazine During Breakfast
Start your day by reading an Italian magazine during breakfast. Whether it’s a fashion magazine, news publication, or a special interest journal, this habit improves your reading comprehension and expands your vocabulary. It also keeps you informed about current events and trends in Italy, making your learning experience more relevant and engaging.
Posting on Social Media in Italian
Social media is a powerful tool for language learning. By posting in Italian, you practice writing and engage with native speakers and fellow learners. Whether it’s sharing a photo, writing a status update, or commenting on a friend’s post, using Italian on social media helps you apply what you’ve learned in a real-world context. It also builds your confidence and motivates you to keep improving.
